Bee

Le Residenze a  Firenze adopt their first beehive thanks to the trust and support of all the guests who, with their contributions, have helped and will continue to support this project.

We collaborate with Simone and Anchise from Feri apicoltura to help protect bees, which are crucial for our ecosystem.

We have been working in the tourism industry for years, constantly seeking solutions and approaches that can create a more sustainable, conscious, and responsible form of tourism.

In addition to our daily practices, we have decided to support local initiatives that care for and protect bees through this project in the territory.

Simone and Anchise began their journey in 2016 when they purchased their first beehive.

Their bees live in the untouched hills of Florence, in an environment located 700 meters above sea level.

Their honey is natural, untreated, and directly sourced from the bees.

They produce various types of wildflower honey, raw propolis, raw beeswax, and Royal Jelly. The honey is only harvested when naturally operculated, and it is allowed to mature for at least 30 days. After it has been harvested, filtered, and clarified, the honey is jarred without any further processing.

The result is a honey that preserves all the flavors and aromas of nature.

But honey is precious to our bee friends, so only in the case of a good season and optimal conditions, any excess honey will be harvested and can be tasted by our future guests. It is a delicious and genuine product that embodies the beauty of their constant work.

For those who want to get a closer look into the world of bees, we offer the opportunity to organize visits to our beehive.
